Dr. Daniel Mooney

Dr. Mooney is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics. He holds research, teaching, and extension appointments with an emphasis in agricultural production systems and farm business management. His research and outreach interests include agricultural production management, water and soil resource sustainability, technology adoption and impact evaluation, and farm financial management. He teaches Agricultural and Resource Enterprise Analysis (AREC 305) for undergraduates and Agricultural Production and Cost Analysis (AREC 605) for graduates. Prior to joining CSU, Dr. Mooney earned graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin (Ph.D.) and Michigan State University (M.S.), served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama, and worked as a research associate in Tennessee.
